Intro to Page Templates

Learn about Tilma page templates: Basic Pages, Landing Pages, and various dynamic templates like Home, Mass Times, Events, and more.

Understanding page templates in Tilma helps you manage your website's content effectively. Here's a guide to the different types of page templates available.

Accessing Page Templates

  1. Navigate to Pages

    • Go to the Pages module from your admin menu.

    • You’ll see a list of your pages, each labeled with its template type.

Types of Page Templates

  1. Basic Pages

    • Fully editable pages for standard content.

  2. Landing Pages

    • Specialized templates for unique layouts. Contact the Tilma Support Team for updates unless trained in the custom page builder.

  3. Other Templates

    • These templates are typically used in your site's initial setup. You may not need to create new pages using these templates.

      • Home: Templated home page builder.

      • Basic with Subnav: Basic page with a horizontal menu.

      • Mass Times: Displays Mass, Confession, and Adoration times from Site Settings: Site Content.

      • Contact: Displays Contact Form, Address, and Office Hours.

      • Welcome: A page dedicated to new site visitors. Dynamically displayed content includes: Ministries & Mass, Confession, and Adoration times from Site Settings: Site Content.

      • Giving: Dynamically loads Campaigns.

      • Ministries: Displays all published Ministries.

      • Ministries Sectioned: This page is no longer supported by Tilma. Using it is not recommended.

      • Schools: Displays all Schools.

      • Resources: Shows feeds of content from Resources and Sacraments.

      • Livestream: Shows active Streams.

      • Events: All your Events feed into this page.

      • Pastor: This page is no longer supported by Tilma. Using it is not recommended.
