Editing pages in Tilma is simple and efficient. This guide covers how to edit existing pages, customize settings for search engines and social media, set featured images, configure SEO details, and manage navigation options.
Navigate to Pages
In the main side navigation, click on Content, then click on Collections.
Find the Pages Collection you'd like to edit. For example, About Pages.
Click the Collection Title.
Click the title of the page you'd like to edit.
If you're looking to edit a Landing Page, such as your Home Page or Mass Times page, please click Website Content, or reach out to Tilma Support.
Settings and Editor Tabs
There are two tabs at the top: Settings and Editor.
Settings
Item Settings
These settings determine how the page is displayed.
Title: Edit the page name.
Subtitle: Optional field to provide more information.
Featured Image: Set a featured image for the page top.
Teaser: Preview text that may appear in certain views on your site.
Editable Page Settings
Slug: Set the page URL here.
Attributes
Optionally select a Main Category, Additional Categories, and Content Type(s)
SEO / Social Settings
Set or modify the page information for browsers, search engines, and social media.
Browser Title: Modify the title appearing in a browser tab.
Meta Description: Describe the page for search results, using key search words.
Social Media Description: Customize the description for social media shares.
Social Media Image: Upload a different image for social media.
Editor
Add Content: Edit or add new content to your page. Once done, click Publish or Save Draft & Exit.
