Edit a Person

You can add or update information about your users in the People tool. Each person in Tilma also has an account which they can login and change or update their own information. The "Administrative" tab can only be seen and edited by users with admin access.

Begin by clicking on "People" in the side navigation.

Browse or search for the person you would like to edit. You can edit by first name, last name, or email.

Navigate the first row of tabs (Personal, Account, Subscriptions, Giving, Administrative, Activity) to reveal the second row of tabs.

After adding/editing information, remember to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the section.

Profile Picture

Click the small blue circle with the pencil icon at the bottom-right and upload the user's profile photo.

Personal

General

This is where you can edit the most basic information for the user.

Parish Registration

This section is still being developed.

If you enabled "Allow Parish Registration Online" in the Membership Settings, each user is asked whether they are registered at the parish.

  • I am currently registered at this parish. - Shows the registration status as registered.
  • I would like to register now. - Sends an email to the parish office prompting them to contact this person.
  • I would not like to register at this time. - Displays the registration status as not-registered.

Custom Fields

This is where you can edit the responses for custom fields. You can create custom fields to collect information that Tilma has not included by default. Click here to learn how to add custom fields.

Public Profile

  • Ministry Contact: Add this person to be the contact person displayed for ministries. It will show their Name, Email and Phone.
  • Author Profile: If this user is an author for resources, you can add or edit the information that will display on their contact page.
  • Contact Page: Choose what information will display on the "Our Team" section of the Contact page.

Account

Platform Access

Invite this user to be an Admin and see what other parishes or organizations they belong to within Tilma.

Permissions

This tab will only work after you grant administrative access in the "Platform Access" tab.

Set the permission level for this user or manually check off specific permissions you would like to grant. You must click "Update" at the bottom of the page when you are finished.

Password

Update or reset your password here.

Two-Factor Authentication

Manage if this user needs to use text message or email code when logging in.

Subscriptions

Manage the user's email subscriptions here. If this tab is missing, that means this user has opted-out of receiving emails from you.

Giving

Recurring

View and edit recurring online donations.

History

See a record of previous donations.

Give Now

This provides parishioners with a convenient place to make a donation. The button will redirect them to the giving page.

Administrative

This tab is only visible to administrators. Regular users can not view or edit information here.

Status

Edit the status of the parishioner to be "Active", "Inactive", or "Moved away".

Notes

Add notes to this person's profile and allow admins to view.

Onboarding

Add information about how much this user typically donates.

Activity

Form Submissions

View the forms that the user has submitted.

Event Registrations

View events the user has registered for. The event registration forms must be tagged with the "Event" custom field to appear here.

Giving History

View previous donations and payments the user has made.
