Sacramental Records: Marriage Record

With Tilma, you can easily create marriage records. To add a new marriage record, follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to Sacramental Records in the profile of the husband or wife.
2. Click on "Add Record" to begin the process.
3. From the menu, select "Marriage - as Husband" or "Marriage - as Wife," depending on the individual's role in the marriage.
4. Use the search field to find the spouse's profile in Tilma. If they don't yet exist in your CRM, you can add them as a new person.
5. Once you've selected the spouse's profile, fill in the details for the record.
6. At the bottom of the record, you'll find a checkbox that says "Also update info on spouse's profile." If you select this checkbox, a second, identical record will be created on the spouse's profile without any extra effort on your part.
7. Finally, click "Save" to create the record.

If you need to edit a marriage record (to record a divorce, separation, death of a spouse, or annulment), simply click "edit".
