Create a fund
Each campaign in Tilma has a corresponding fund.
A single fund can be attached to multiple campaigns. A campaign can only be attached to a single fund. For example, you may have a "Youth Ministry" fund that is associated with the "Fall Youth Retreat" campaign, "Youth Conference" campaign, "Confirmation Retreat" campaign etc.
To create a fund, use the side navigation to click on "Giving" and then click on "Campaigns".
On the campaigns page, click on "Funds".
On the funds page, click on "New" or click on an existing fund to edit it.
Fill out the fund settings:
Name: The common name for this fund
GL Code: The general ledger code the book keeper will use to sort where this money should be allocated.
Tax Receiptable: Check this box if money being deposited in this fund is exclusively for donations. At the end of the year, Tilma will use this information to automatically issue your donors a tax receipt [is this accurate?]. If this fund is not exclusively for donations, you may want to consider creating two separate funds where one is tax recieptable and the other is not. The GL code can be the same for both.
