Dear friends,

We just want to keep you updated with our parish’s response to the newest (State Health Orders). As you may have heard, our (Health Authority) has increased the number that is able to gather in Mass.

What does this mean for our parish?

(The updated restrictions on church gatherings allow the possibility of celebrating Mass with up to 80% of the building capacity to be physically present in the church.)

While our earnest desire is for all of us to be able to gather freely and worship together once again, we are grateful for this provision.

While live-streamed Masses may be “easier” to attend and schedule into our lives, the truth remains that Jesus awaits each and every one of us in the Blessed Sacrament. After all, the word “Eucharist” means “thanksgiving”; as such, we do not add anything to God’s goodness by attending Mass, rather, He pours Himself out to us, to transform us and restore us.

We also want to affirm our need for our church family to help build each other up during these trying times.

We want to remind everyone that COVID-19 safety protocols are still in place, including wearing a mask inside all of the church property, using hand sanitizers, and maintaining safe social distancing.

In the meantime, be assured of our prayers for you and your family.

We are excited to see you soon,

Your parish team

Dear friends,

We just want to keep you updated with our parish’s response to the newest (Provincial Health Orders). As you may have heard, our (Provincial Health Authority) has lifted the public worship ban, making it possible to celebrate Mass with a smaller number of the faithful present within the church building.

What does this mean for our parish?

(The updated restrictions on church gatherings allow the possibility of celebrating Mass with up to 10% of the building capacity to be physically present in the church. For our parish, that means we may have up to 100 people at one time, including our pastors, altar servers, and volunteers.)

While our earnest desire is for all of us to be able to gather freely and worship together once again, we are grateful for this provision.

While live-streamed Masses may be “easier” to attend and schedule into our lives, the truth remains that Jesus awaits each and every one of us in the Blessed Sacrament. To help protect our community, strict COVID-19 safety protocols are still in place, including wearing a mask inside all of the church property, using hand sanitizers, and maintaining safe social distancing.
