Intro to Links

Links to URLs

To create links to other URLs, whether they are on your site or on another website, you first highlight some text with your cursor.

Highlighting the text triggers the text editor panel. Click on the Insert Link button.

In the URL field, type or paste in the link to the page you choose. You can edit the visible text here, as well as set whether to open up a new browser tab for the linked page.

To test your link, you can click on the Open Link arrow.

Links to Uploaded Files

You can create a link to an uploaded file such as a PDF or CSV file. 

First, highlight some text with your cursor. Highlighting the text triggers the text editor panel. Click on the Insert Link button. 

Next, click on the Upload File button, and you can then choose with file to upload. 

You will see a progress bar to indicate the progress of your upload. Once the upload is complete, the link to the file will be inserted automatically into the URL field. You can edit the visible text here, as well as set whether to open up a new browser tab for the file.

To test your link, you can click on the Open Link arrow.
